Simple Prosciutto Toast

Simple Prosciutto Toast Recipe
You can serve this prosciutto toast with avocado, poached egg and more.
This is a fast recipe for garlic bread, so I am using spreadable butter and garlic powder as a short cut.
Ingredients:
- 4 thick slices baguette (or artisan bread)
- light sprinkle of garlic powder to taste
- spreadable unsalted butter
- 4 slices prosciutto di Parma (Parma ham)
- dried parley flakes
- freshly cracked black pepper
Suggested complements:
- salad greens washed & spun dry
- cherry tomatoes halved
- lemon wedge(s)
- any salad dressing (such as balsamic vinaigrette or Italian vinaigrette)
Directions:
- Make quick garlic bread toast. On both sides of each bread, sprinkle garlic powder and spread butter. Heat the pan on medium heat and toast the bread on both sides until lightly golden.
- Plate and serve. On each piece of toast, place one slice of folded prosciutto. Serve the prosciutto toast(s) with complements such as salad greens, tomatoes, lemon and salad dressing. Garnish with parsley & black pepper.
