- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/4 onion sliced thinly
- 120 grams minced pork (chicken or beef)
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 3 chilli padi to taste; sliced to small wedges

- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 cup loosely packed Thai holy basil leaves
- cornstarch solution dissolve 1 tsp corn starch mix in 2 tbsp water
(A) Sauce
- 3/4 tbsp Thai fish sauce to taste
- 1/4 tsp dark soy sauce
- 100 ml water

I miss Thai basil. Don’t see them over here…this looks light, yet very flavoursome and tasty.
Looks very delicious! I want the entire set with rice, basil pork, egg and cucumber. Even your cucumber is carved so meticulously. ;p
No access to kitchen during staycation is good right? I don’t miss my kitchen when I am on vacation. Getting lazier, even mentally. Oops :(
Happy 2017 to you and your family. Good health to all!
Oh the cucumber was prepped with a zigzag peeler, not carved by hand ;)
I miss the kitchen much when I don’t have access to it (lol). HNY!
