This is another quick and easy recipe pasta recipe, appealing to the lazy cook in me. Since clams cook really quickly, I love the fact that I can whip up this one-dish meal in about 20 minutes.

The actual cooking time for clams is less than 5 minutes – overcooking is a no-no and will result in chewy and rubbery clams. I really love to cook such pasta dishes at home – not only are they easy to prepare, the ingredients are relatively cheap as well, making it really economical to enjoy it often at home.

Love linguine with clams, especially cooked just right. They must be very tasty in such a pungent sauce.
I also enjoy clams a lot, just that I seldom buy them cos with fresh clams I need to make sure I have to cook them on the day I buy them and I have not tried frozen clams before, Love this easy pasta dish too …so yummy!
Hi, any specific white wine u would recommend for this?
just any type of plain (not fruity or flavoured) and dry white wine will do. You don’t have to buy expensive grades.

Can I use any substitute for the white wine?
no need to substitute if you do not consume white wine, just omit.
What type of white wine ? Can I use the Chinese cooking wine. Hua Tiao wine
Use a dry and non-fruity white wine such as sauvignon blanc. Chinese cooking wines are not suitable for this dish.
