Blueberry Smoothie

I love blueberry season, where our supermarkets will be well stocked with cheap and fresh blueberries. With the prices falling to S$2 per punnet, I have been having home-made blueberry smoothie for the past week.

The drink is chunky and filling on its own because of the yoghurt and milk. It makes for a light and healthy breakfast, or an anytime refreshing drink.
Just four ingredients – blueberries, plain or greek yoghurt, honey or maple syrup (affiliate link from iherb.com) and fresh milk.
It’s really easy to make – just put all the ingredients inside a blender for a few seconds. You want to serve it immediately because the drink will oxidize and lose its vibrant purple hue when exposed to air for too long.
I love blueberries, your ingredients are so simple and easy :D must make this for my family. Thanks!
hope your family likes it :)
Mmm…refreshing, healthy and delicious. When summer comes, I’ll be making more of this.
I must look for it during my weekend shopping, see if I manage to find it here.
Love your photos, gorgeous!
I’ve been drinking blueberry smoothies every day for the past two weeks! I love blueberry season! I never made mine with milk. These look creamy and delicious!
everyday! :O I will check out your recipe :)
Oh the pictures are so gorgeous! Love love love! And yeah my family’s been raving about how cheap the blueberries are right now. I have a sudden urge to rush out and buy all the ingredients!
Perfect for this time of the year…blueberries in season…it sure look so refreshing :-)
Sure is blueberry season in the US! I just bought a big container of it along with strawberries. I’ve been making smoothies too :)
Just got back from a holiday where I had watermelon smoothie, mango smoothie and a ‘Mars Bar’ smoothie – love smoothies. This blueberry smoothie looks divine. Is the straw too thin for the smoothie?
Mars Bar smoothie … sounds interesting. Ya a little … for photography purposes only ;) :P
Yum, I love berry season and smoothies-both a are good (smile). I don’t have blueberries, but maybe I could make this with my cherries??
Yes I think you can! :-)
Wiffy, this is my type of drink too! A bit like blueberry lassi … or maybe it is! Haha! I saw punnets of blueberries on sale at Cold Storage … was hesitating if I should get them to make something … Maybe I should. *Sigh*
I’m never good at differentiating milkshake, smoothie and lassi … hey make it soon, don’t think anymore, hehe
