I love blueberry season, where our supermarkets will be well stocked with cheap and fresh blueberries. With the prices falling to S$2 per punnet, I have been having home-made blueberry smoothie for the past week.
The drink is chunky and filling on its own because of the yoghurt and milk. It makes for a light and healthy breakfast, or an anytime refreshing drink.
Just four ingredients – blueberries, plain or greek yoghurt, honey or maple syrup (affiliate link from iherb.com) and fresh milk.
It’s really easy to make – just put all the ingredients inside a blender for a few seconds. You want to serve it immediately because the drink will oxidize and lose its vibrant purple hue when exposed to air for too long.
Wow, great job here. Awesome picture too! You should really consider submitting this to Recipe4Living’s Summertime Sipper Contest! It looks delicious!
I substituted the vanilla yoghurt for vanilla ice cream
It tastes delicious!
