Angel Hair

Angel hair or Capellini is a type of Italian pasta characterized by rod-shaped (just like spaghetti) and long thin strands. Because they are so thin, they cook very fast – usually in just two minutes, making it a handy ingredient to keep in the pantry. They have been likened to the Asian’s rice vermicelli.

Names
Italian Name: Capelli d’angelo (which literally means angel hair)

Storage
Store opened packet of pasta (sealed, in an air-tight tall container) in a cool, dry cupboard.

How to Cook
Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add noodles to the pot and cook according to the package instructions (usually 2 minutes), until the noodles are al dente (pasta cooked just right – firm with a bit of bite).
