Peanut Butter Overnight Oats
This peanut butter overnight oats is totally indulgent for breakfast. I added in a spoonful of creamy peanut butter into the basic overnight oats recipe. They gave pretty swirls of peanut butter in the milky oats, so that you can enjoy chunks of peanut butter amidst the naturally-flavoured oats.
The oats are topped with another scoop of peanut butter, raspberries, banana and roasted peanuts.
This is the peanut butter I used. At first I bought it because it looked photogenic, came in a glass bottle and is all-natural with no added sugar. It turned out to have a smooth, semi-runny consistency which made it easy to mix into the oats, unlike some types of peanut butter which has a drier consistency. You can use any favourite brand of peanut butter for this recipe. If your overnight oats turned out dry after adding the peanut butter, just add some milk to loosen them up.
We are peanut butter fans :-) This looks super yummy!
Count me in as a peanut butter fan! Yay! PB is a breakfast staple – everyday, it is on our toast that supplements breakfast oats.
I really have to salute you for making an assortment of breakfast overnight oats (and they all look so very pretty!). In my family, breakfast oats is a standard without fancy changes. I just use homemade muesli (made from oats, nuts, seeds) + milk+fruits.
I have not eaten breakfast for decades, always skip bf and straight to brunch. Even if I do eat bf, it will be the more savoury type like fish ball noodles and carrot cake … So overnight oats are a turning point for me to eat bf. Got to make them pretty and more sinfully yummy, so that I can enjoy eating healthy food :p
