Asparagus are now in season so they are cheap and plentiful at the supermarkets. These bacon wrapped asparagus are the easiest things to make in the kitchen. It is really a no-brainer recipe: just wrap and bake!

Prep the asparagus. Read here for more information. | |
Arrange the ingredients on the bacon. Personally, I like to hide the stalks behind the spear. | |
Wrap and roll the bacon into a tight cylinder. I think it looks better with the spears at the top of the bacon wrap as shown, but it’s up to you. | |
Brush the vegetables with some olive oil. | |
Bake and serve. | |

Instead of baking, you can cook the bacon wraps on the stove top. You do not need to brush the vegetables with olive oil for the stove top method. Be sure to turn the bacon wraps around often with kitchen tongs, and cook until the bacon is crisp.
