[Video] How to cut a flower pattern on a mushroom
I’m so excited because this is my first “cooking video”, well more of a cooking preparation video. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, but when it comes to cooking, I think nothing can tell a story better than a video. This is a short video showing you how to cut a flower pattern on a mushroom for decorative purpose. You may have seen such “groomed” mushrooms in steamboat and sukiyaki, and they are really pretty to look at. This is a request from reader Lorraine.
I’m totally clueless when it comes to videos, so even though this clip is less than 1 minute, we took the whole weekend to produce it. There is a lot of room for improvement. Please give me your honest feedback, and tell me how I can improve in future. If you have any suggestions on what kind of videos you would like to see, feel free to let me know via comments. More instructional videos to come I hope, so stay tuned :)

Yes, he passed away. I like his style of music. Always go to youtube to listen to his tracks. Oh, Samurai Champloo… I think I read that comic before.
the anime is better than the manga, because of the soundtrack and hip-hop style… try to catch it ;)

As they say, we feast with our eyes before we feed with our mouths… so it’s nice to have some foods “decorated” before we dine on them. Nice one, this! :)
