It has been raining almost every evening, so I thought I will make a hearty comfort meal of curry chicken to enjoy in the cooler weather. I decided to turn the curry into a one-dish meal by adding noodles, just like the popular curry chicken noodles from Hong Lim Food Centre which my family loves. I use instant chicken paste so this turns out to be a easy and fuss-free one-dish meal. Tofu puffs (tau pok), fish cake slices, potatoes and shredded chicken are added for a complete meal. The result was really satisfying.

Wiffy, do also try the Hai’s curry paste. They have the instant type n regular type. I love it’s rich lemak flavor. Shd be spicy enough foru. Michelle

Can use thick white bee hoon for healthier choice… omg look so yummy n Tau po is a must for curry!

I am happy tried your recipes, first recipe is orange chicken kebabs, 2nd is curry chicken noodles, can’t wait to try chicken in 40 cloves garlic and shallots. Thanks so much for sharing. Yumss! Gonna try it later but will be using Asian Gourmet Singapore Chicken Curry… Not sure if the taste will be as nice as A1 or Ah hai brand… Wish me luck!
