Air-Fried Zai Er (Vegetarian Mock Goose)
To avoid overcrowding the air fryer to ensure even cooking, I cook about 50 grams of zai er at a time. You may cook as many batches as you like. After the first batch, you do not need to preheat the airfryer again.
- 50 grams ready-made zai er (vegetarian mock goose) for one round of cooking
- Use kitchen scissors to cut zai er into smaller pieces.
- Preheat air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for 5 minutes. Arrange zai er one layer on the fryer basket (minimize overlapping too much) and slide the basket into the airfryer. Set timer and air fry for 5 minutes. Store in air-tight container for a few days.
