This sweet shrimp sashimi (amaebi) salad is a fast recipe that can be made in 10 minutes. Last week, I bought some sweet shrimp sashimi from Don Don Donki. I immediately made this quick salad with avocado and ikura, served with Japanese wafu dressing. I saw a similar salad photo (with raw fish which I omitted) at Donki, which set off an instant craving for me. This salad is extra quick because I was using pre-washed salad greens and instant salad dressing. All I have to do is to cut up an avocado and assemble the salad.
This is my pack of sweet shrimp sashimi. I used half sashimi, and the other half to make salad.
Recently, I have been addicted to this bottle of wafu dressing. I’m onto my second bottle now. It’s slightly lower-calorie than usual. When I’m not lazy, I will make my own wafu dressing.
By the way, it’s nice to enjoy the amaebi as sashimi too!
Use sashimi-grade Japanese sweet shrimp (amaebi) to make this salad. Otherwise, you can substitute the sashimi shrimp with boiled shelled shrimps.

Line salad plate with salad greens. Even scatter the salad with sweet shrimp sashimi, avocado and fish roe. Serve with salad dressing at the side.
