Just like pineapple soju, this orange soju is really simple to make. It only needs 5 minutes and 2 main ingredients.
The two (main ingredients) are pure orange juice and plain soju. The orange & lime slices and mint are optional but good for infusion purposes. You can use freshly squeezed orange juice or buy 100% pure orange juice from the supermarket (such as Florida’s Orange or Sunraysia) as a short-cut.
Flavoured soju is always overly sweet for me. I love to mix my own soju instead of buying flavoured ones because I can control the sweetness and the soju’s alcoholic content. Since this recipe takes only 5 minutes, it is totally worth the effort!
If your soju and orange juice are not chilled, add ice cubes to the pitcher before mixing the drink.
# For store-bought orange juice (bottle, can or tetra-pak), shake well before use.
In a serving glass pitcher, add a slice of orange, lime and mint leaves. Pour equal parts chilled soju and orange juice (or any higher/lower soju concentration as desired).
