Sweet Shrimp Sashimi (Amaebi) Salad

This sweet shrimp sashimi (amaebi) salad is a fast recipe that can be made in 10 minutes. Last week, I bought some sweet shrimp sashimi from Don Don Donki. I immediately made this quick salad with avocado and ikura, served with Japanese wafu dressing. I saw a similar salad photo (with raw fish which I omitted) at Donki, which set off an instant craving for me. This salad is extra quick because I was using pre-washed salad greens and instant salad dressing. All I have to do is to cut up an avocado and assemble the salad.

This is my pack of sweet shrimp sashimi. I used half sashimi, and the other half to make salad.

Bottled Wafu Salad DressingRecently, I have been addicted to this bottle of wafu dressing. I’m onto my second bottle now. It’s slightly lower-calorie than usual. When I’m not lazy, I will make my own wafu dressing.

By the way, it’s nice to enjoy the amaebi as sashimi too!

  1. I seriously could eat this every single day! All the ingredients are so fresh…absolutely wonderful!

  2. Been using pre-washed /pre-cut vegetables (including salad greens) too, and it makes prep work much quicker and easier. The only cooked(and chilled) shrimps easily available here are those cocktail -shrimps from the supermarket – no where near the quality you have here. So I still hv to buy raw shrimps to cook :(
